Capitol Scale Company carries over 2,500 lbs. of NIST traceable certified test weights to test your floor scales in the range that you use them. Testing a 5,000 lb floor scale to 500 lbs is comparable to testing your 300 lb bathroom scale to 30 lbs (10%).  Testing a scale in its “working” range is one of the many ways that Capitol Scale Company is helping to eliminate errors in your weighing/counting.
