Capitol Scale Company ensures a minimum of 2,500 lbs. of NIST traceable certified test weights on every service vehicle, allowing us to test your scales within the range you use them. This approach is akin to testing a 5,000 lb floor scale at 500 lbs, similar to testing your 300 lb bathroom scale at 30 lbs (10%). By testing scales in their "working" range, Capitol Scale Company contributes to the reduction of errors in your weighing and counting processes.

Capitol Scale specializes in inspecting, calibrating, and testing crane scales with capacities of up to 75 tons. Our capabilities also include supplying weights for load tests of cranes with a maximum capacity of 375,000 pounds, ensuring reliable performance for even the heaviest applications.
